As you all are likely aware, the government didn’t shut down last week. We actually got a spending bill. AND, it’s not terrible. Actually, science and conservation got boosts in most areas. No riders asking for the shutdown of the EPA. No unnecessary revisions to the Endangered Species Act. And increased funding levels for a number of science-related agencies.
I’m going to cheat a little bit with my summary and provide links to places that did it better than I ever could.
